This will be the first time a race will be held in this historic old town. I don't want to say anything "off Topic" but I just can't resist putting a plug in for one of the USA's great historic sites. The Bomber Inn! This is a B17 (Currently under going restoration) Originally, it sat on 42 gas pumps and towards the back was a very neat little diner that still operates today, and serves some of the best foods ever tasted! They have added a WWII memorial museum that is something to behold. If any racer, or specator has a little time to kill this weekend, it would be a great thing to take in and it's only a mile or so South of the boat ramp on 99E. Great people, great food, wonderful history and a great race...who could ask for anything more??!!!
