Mike Bontoft competed in the 50th anniversary CTC offshore race, winning the historical division and gaining an additional award for his restoration of the 30 year old, Uno Embassy. His boat, also 30 years old is Dry Martini, a 35' Cigarette formerly raced by 2 time world offshore champion, Carlo Bonomi.
