Received some great news this morning concerning Jon Wienandt and his return to racing after accidents at both Constantine and Depue. This is wonderful and his dad Mike sent me a note today and I have his permission to share. Glad to know they will be back on the water with us at Pleasant Prairie.
After a devastating month of July losing two boats in two weeks, and an engine due to crashes WPT racing is coming back.
Jon is still recovering from a back injury from Depue where we lost our 175 boat and engine in a very high speed crash. We must thank Sam Hemp of B&H Hydros for building a brand new boat for us in time to race again.
This with all fresh engines the Line 2 Line, US Chrome race boat will be on the water again in both classes. 125 hydro we will race a Wienandt prepared VRP and 175 hydro will be a Wienandt prepared Rossi
We are looking forward to closing out the year on good note.
