After a very successful weekend of racing at Pleasant Prairie, The US Title Series sets its sights on the very busy speed month of July, beginning with the July 1-3rd at Lake Springfield, Illinois. We are looking for another great turnout after having 91 entries at Pleasant Prairie with lots of competitive runs and the third heat being the key to the wins in many classes
With 12 500R's, 10 250H's, and 7 capsules, leading great fields in every class, the action was nonstop and heart stopping at times and expect the same at Springfield. We urge one and all to come compete with the best Pro's the water.
A little bit of a surprise for our drivers at Springfield, we will take delivery of our digital clock and it will be in use for that weekend. We have been using the sweep hand clock for many years, but the digital’s have been given thumbs almost without fail. Should be exciting to see how are drivers are able to handle the new clock.
After Springfield of course, we set ourselves up for very busy speed month following Lake Springfield, it is off to Constantine, Michigan, in Dan Kirts and Ike Yoder’s back yard, then it is on to the greatest race site and sponsor, The Lake Depue Men's Club at Lake Depue for the US NATIONALS, presented by the US Title Series. Always a great week of racing and a renewal of friendships.
We will finish off the year at a great race site at Pleasant Prairie the weekend AFTER Labor Day at beautiful Lake Andrea.
Don't forget, while in Depue that week, John Shubert and Dale Hoffert have and are working very hard on the reunion coming up. Please register, come one come all. If Alan Ishii, my best bud can get on an airplane to come, we can all be there.
We continue to negotiate with a number of sponsors to add to the standard mix for 2017. Exciting details to come. If anyone has a lead on a site, by all means contact me and we will try to work together to sell it.
