  • FRIDAY AT LAKE ALFRED

Perfect cloud cover and water gave the guys and gals of the US Title Series an opportunity to get on the water for the first time this year. 80 entries so far with 4 or 5 more drivers expected by morning to register. A great turnout for the first race of the year with the Lake Alfred Lion's Club, David, Rita, and Steve Fawcett putting in a lot of hours, along with the rest of the volunteers of the Lion's Club. Proceeds will go to the Race for Kids foundation and is a wonderful cause, helping under privileged children in the Lake Alfred area.

Many new boats, JP Jedwabny and Pete Kellybtaking delivery of the beautiful Bud Gann boats and both looked spectacularly fast. Paulie Bosnich in a brand new Krier and Derek Gesler spent the winter building a new 500/700/1100 Runabout. David Hooten in a runabout????? Jake Quesse and Brianna Payn with new rides with both stepping up classes with Jake from 125 will double the CC’s to 250 in the hydro, while Brianna, how did this happen, now old enough to join the 125R category. Tara Cook out of Mississippi joins us with a 125H ride this year while fellow Modified driver, Austin Van Over joins the fearsome Thirlby Automotive group in 700R this year.

Looking forward to some spectacular racing both Saturday and Sunday at this beautiful facility and look forward to sharing that with you both evening once over. If near here, come out and enjoy!!!!!
