Constantine is the place I started Boat Racing in 1966.
Mel Kirts is responsible for snagging this great race course for PRO Racing. Back in the day, Mel and his kids Tom, Danny and Jerry did a fair amount of testing on the St Joe River, that’s the reason they were so darn good!
The American Legion has always been a good sponsor to the PRO Boat Races. Good food and drink, great pits and water and always excited race fans.
Make it a point to visit and watch us race at Constantine, MI July 18 - 20 the beginning of Speed Week.
