  • New Fuel Rule ?

After reviewing the stock outboards national meeting rule changes on APBA's web site I have a ? about the following statement made there. The below paragraph is from that site.

    16. MOTION MADE TO ACCEPT STOCK OUTBOARD FUEL RULE.
The stock outboard category allows the use of pump gasoline, aviation gasoline and automotive racing gasoline. They may be used separately or mixed together. Pump gasoline is defined as any product which is offered for sale to the general public for use in passenger automobiles.
The addition of any substance other than oil which is produced for use in consumer 2-cycle marine and off road recreational products is strictly prohibited.
The race committee may take samples of any competitors fuel to be sent for analysis.
The race committee may, when notice is given, have available at the race site a gasoline product for purchase at a reasonable price for competitors to purchase and use that gasoline.

Does this mean the new stock outboard fuel rules are the same as the 2005 Mod fuel rules?

The 2005 stock fuel rule stated pump gas only. Were the 2005 mod fuel rule is very simler to the fuel rule change wording stated above. Can someone please explain? Thanks
    Tom L.
