  • ALKY BRITISH ANZANI CLASS A-B STOCK & ALKY ON BRF SITE FOR VIEW

There have been over 300 views in the first 12 hours of the most complete and posted information breakdown, whole engines, powerheads and detailed parts pictures of these amazing British Anzani A and B Looper engines that did some runs past 100 miles per hour to even 107 miles per hour after 1980 to try too set 2 way records on on Hill's and March's Boatracingfacts website.

Readers wanting to see these amazing Anzani cast iron looper engines brought into North America by the late and great Bill Tenney from Crystal Bay, Minnesota at first for stock outboard racing against the Mercs of that era, only to get banned and put into the ranks of the Methanol - Alky burners, where they did respectably well in A and B Alky in the hands of names like Hallum, Anderson, Sutter, Wallin, Berg, Pond and many others, can see the fullest possible do***entaton, whole powerheads, whole engines and the many stock and Alky parts for them on the BRF site. As some more detail parts pictures shake loose, they will be similarly posted for view. We are encouraging other readers who have some pictures and their stories to add to that lot to give it the content possible to those amazing engines to create a great set of archive pages for them

The next target for this kind of archive project for the BRF site will be for the Quincy-Merc 3rd port padded block deflector Alkys. I can just imagine people still thinking years later of holding on to their arms and shoulders from the strain and pain from trying to start these ultra high compression deflector/crossflow beasts, one cylinder up at a time to rope to start!
