FIELD OF WAKES, a book chronicling the 2011 APBA Stock/Modified/J Outboard National Championships, has been completed and is at the printers this week. It is expected to be available for purchase online the week of November 6th.
Following in the footsteps of previous photo journal books - DUST BOWL ROOSTERTAILS in 2010, THIS IS HOW WE ROLL in 2009, and SIDE BY SIDE, CLAMPED ON AND GOIN' FOR IT in 2008, this is the largest book of its kind produced yet. With 120 pages and over 425 photos in it, it covers all the classes that competed at Wakefield MI. It also includes final heat times for all classes.
One of the things that makes this year's book different is it also features a quote from every National Champion who offer their own unique perspective on winning a National Championship, and what made this year's nationals a special event for them personally.
