F/S a pair of Merc 500's vintage 1961... each engine sold individually or ( cheaper-by-the-pound ). Motor #1 has a powerhead originally built by / and marked / George Hutchinson, a former successful racer from The Mid-West. It has old-school , steel, Two into One, mfg'd by Quincy Welding exhaust megaphones, many external water modifications, 'KC' Tillotsen carburetors, rope spool on cut-down flywheel and many, internal modifications. It has a KG9-H and clamps mid-section, and 55-H gear case. Price for motor #1 is $3500.
Motor #2 is fresh re-build / blue-printed , has Total-Loss CDI ignition system, has tuner exhaust pipe, within a standard-length , but modified mk 55 mid-section... also, The clamps and swivel bracket are modified (lightened)... comes with special thinned and cupped Michingan wheel on Mk 55 gearcase ... also included is a barely-used Sid Bass gearcase, ( gear ratio is currently set at 'one-under' ) , having custom adaptor plate, with old school prop-shaft that uses 'D' Quicksilver props.
