    • Dean,
It just needs a little something to make it pop. And it needs a number.
Can someone check to see if 42CE is in use?

Great looking, nice work on skins. I agree needs some colors(s) to pop in correct layout and APBA numbers. You have brand new wood to work with. I did a restore on a 1982 25ss Karelsen pickle hydro, no skin replacements needed but the wood needed color to hide some weathered areas and to pop, saved as much natural as I could. Pics available for ideas.

Can use computer paint software to play with colors and design.

              • Shameless sharing now.
Even the part you (hopefully) won’t see looks great.

                • Final coat of epoxy is on, might have to paint next weekend before it gets too cold.

                    • Very cool mr Modracer . Not sure if this pic will work, but I think this is a good weight for a boat without any gear. Right ?

Yamato 80 is the chosen power plant on this one.

                    • You have done a stellar job reviving that boat..
Kudos from a retired Bezoat owner!!

I have done little more than keep this thread updated. Props all go to Mr. Carruthers.

Top is ready to hit with 320 then 600 for paint and clear. Bottom looks like it will need one more coat of epoxy to fill some dips and get the back level.

Edit: Also went back and added a pile of photos to the thread. It’s great the site is working better.

                      • Last coat of epoxy to get the bottom level.

Mixed all the paint for the boat yesterday morning. The colour choice will be polarizing. But it’s a bold restoration project that deserved a bold colour choice.

                        • Picked this up from Carruthers last night. It was barely snowing outside.

Boat looks amazing, can’t wait to start on paint then get some hardware on this thing. 4D716EEB-71DD-48C6-B1A6-350F59D7EAF7.jpeg

                          • Had half an hour today so went out and did a quick mock-up. Still missing mag locks, a tank bracket and to get my megaphone back from a buddys house. Going to try and fire this up for the first time over Christmas.
