I've seen a number of racers looking for suitable fuel tanks. Check out the products offered by Flambeau Fluid Systems out of Baraboo, WI. You can find them on the web. They offer a wide variety of tanks especially windshield washer fluid tanks for the automotive industry. They come in a variety of capacities from 2 qts to a number of gallons, have flange mounting capabilities and come with a vented cap. All you have to do is remove the electric pump assembly and screw in a fuel fitting in its place and you have gasoline compatible tank that doesn't take a lot of room and is light weight. The 4 quart tank is about 11" high x 7" long x 4" deep and weighs less than a lb. and easily fits inside the cockpit of a hydro. Hope this helps any of you fuel tank hungry racers.
