AOF is in need of a volunteer Executive Information Secretary for one year. Should be very computer literate. Will be putting together a monthly memo type newsletter (something like the Grapefruit Circuit Gazette). A few other odd jobs that you will find very rewarding.
Pay is not good, but will get perks of travel and other fun things, as well as what is essential to your job.
This is basically a new position (an old one with a new purpose). You will get out of this job everything that you put into it if you enjoy creating your own purpose. You will also have a vote as an officer.
You will be working closely with the AOF Executive Director, (who by the way, is a very lovely lady) and is willing to help.
The American Outboard Federation is a 35 year old racing organization that is again growing and in fact, increased it's membership this year by 300 percent. The future employee should have a desire to help out boat racing and keep our sport alive. The passion for AOF will come easily and in a short time once you become aware of the inner workings of a non profit racing federation that can offer racing at so much cheaper prices.
