Hello every one, I'm as green as they get.
I went to the races in Lock Haven for the second time and I would like to get in to the runabouts stock class.
I would like to know if a mercury 20 hp ss motor would be big enough to race in the stock class? If not what kind of motor would be? any help .
What is the biggest hp motor can I run?
Can any one run with an old style design boat if they fit the specs?
what I have is a old 1970's or older racer length 11ft beam 4'6" depth 15 1/2" the hull weight is around 135lbs
the hull can take up to a 25 hp merc.
I was told it ran in the "B" spec racing in its time
Will this boat do or am I doing this all wrong?
this boat needs some tlc before it can race again.
