Northeast Fast Lap & Marathon Challenge
June 25 - 26, 2005, Taunton, MA (APBA Sanction #1430)
Minimum $1,750 Cash Payout
Two Segments:
Saturday June 25, 2005
Fast Lap – Each Driver will run a lap against the clock by themselves. Winner take all – Payout - $250.00.
Sunday June 26, 2005
Marathon – 8 laps on a ¾ mile course. Lemans start from the beach and there will be a mandatory stop for fuel. No need for big tanks as you will be apportioned a predetermined amount of your fuel to start the event. There will be entrance and exit buoys to the pits for the fuel stop.
We will run as many boats that show up for the event.
Payout – 1st thru 10th - $750, 300, 150, 100, 50, 30, 30, 30, 30, 30
No entry fee. Two separate events, you can run one or the other or both. You do not have to do the fast Lap on Saturday to run the Marathon on Sunday
Both events will be run a Noon each day so that drivers traveling any distance can leave early.
APBA Points race will also be scheduled for both days.
