Top'O Date 2014

At tonight's T.O.M.O.R.C meeting, and after much discussion , a vote was taken and it was decided that Top'O Michigan Marathon Nationals will be held the third weekend of August, the 16th and 17th. All present were very impressed with the sign of goodwill shown towards our race by the SORC at the annual meeting and would like to return the favor by backing away from the date set for the Short Course Nationals to be held at Moses Lake.
Good luck to Region 10 with their event and thank you for being willing to work with us on this decision. It is much appreciated and hope to see everyone at Top'O this year.

Can't Wait!!!

The SORC gave a vote of confidence to and tightened up the APBA rules in recognizing the 'new' Stock Classics. They even established a National Championship and National Points. All of this is to hopefully encourage greater participation numbers and to truly make Stock Outboard "A place for everyone to race". So, what are the chances that Top'O will make a place on the sanction for the Classics either a short course 20 minute race or perhaps even the long course. I've got 2 entries ready to race. Darn. School starts a lot earlier in Illinois than Michigan. Dont see the wife buying in to goin to the cabin at Higgins Lake that weekend.
