    Good

Sounds like we now have evryones race speeds ! LOL

I am glad to see Competition set ups on oval racers rigs runing for a straight away record. It is not my thing to compete in this, but I don't mind seeing others going for it. If you can set the record using the same rig you race with every weekend, you are certainly in the top finishers at local races. It would be very cool to see a seperate Kilo's Race regulated to competition rules so some new Kilo records could be set. It combines all categories for some decent media coverage for all involved. Exposure is a good thing. Might not grow membership, but the a first step to growth is exposure.

Those are some crazy fast numbers.

Hearn running 67 mph in Joe's CSR is way impressive.
It's no wonder why I have never beat Joe.

        Troy,
Have to double check the rule book to see if SO & MO allow HOC pts for the 1/4 mile. If they do its only for "broken" records, not for "establishing" the record

Would sure be nice to see a list of all the records broken/set, I heard some folks know they set a record but dont even know what their speeds are!

1/4 Mile do count towards HOC, and it is only once a record has been established.

Not sure how someone wouldn't know their speeds, they were communicating via radio so at times it took awhile to get. The only speed I heard that we struggled to get was the 1-U of Price in AXR for some reason they kept asking for it but they would not tell.

Any chance someone can post some speeds? I'm obviously particularly interested in the Yamato classes.
                  Thanks!

Dave the only requirement is the height and boat specks to be considered stock for the quater mile to run the prop I ran in ASH would require a mile and two thirds course and I would say many others ran props like that so the speeds may be misleading of how fast the every weekend speeds are

Both Stillwill and TJ ran their MODS through..............George was not told his speed and i don't know about TJ . George ran A Mod Hydro and TJ ran B Mod Hydro.
From what i understand things were a little loosy goosy in terms of communication and running order..........hopefully all the speeds will be officially posted soon. It was nice of the Weiners to invite us to this event and treat everyone well. The 1/4 mile straightaway records seem very cool and are more in line with the equipment we run at oval races!
