I may have something your interested. I have a Fernel Flyer and a 25XS with a great wheel, that my wife thinks I should sell. The boat is in very good shape and most of the hardware is there. I was told when I bought it that it was only raced a few times, I have ran it and it's very fast but never raced it. Instead of starting from scratch you could be tuning for racing. I'm a newbie at this But here are some pictures. I'm not sure of the history I bought the boat thru a friend that is really into racing a few years back. I think both the boat and motor is late 80's. He told me it was only raced a few times and was very competative I also have a 3 blade prop that I will get a picture of and post it. I will try to contact my friend and get better details.

You maybe right, I'm in Prior Lake Minnesota, I got the rig thru a friend Steve Johnson a few years back but I never knew who actually owned it.
