I was just asked via my wife who is in Biloxi for the offshore race to relay this message from Mark Weber:
Due to high water caused by some mechanical failure of the water control system between the lakes, the driving school scheduled for next weekend has been cancelled. The inboard pit area is currently about 4' under water and there is no word on when the water flow will be controlled again.
This cancellation notice should be echoed on the Inboard site as well as APBA's at the start of business tomorrow. You can call headquarters directly for more information. I am just the middleman messenger.
How ironic that we always are looking for new water to race on and this spring, there are sites cancelling with too much!
