  • Furnal Flyer

Last Friday night I finished restoring my Furnal Flyer, class D and took it to a meet on Saturday for its maiden run. Only have my MK25 on a quickie leg and lower unit ready to go. I know that I need to kick it out a bit more and also to raie the motor some more. It has 16:21 gears and my largest prop is a 6 1/2 X 11. Think that I could use something a little bigger, but I was getting 39.4 mph out of her. I would post the pictures here, but have not figured that part out yet (too many keys, not enough wrenches on this key board). But I did amaze myself and was able to create an album, so you can check the pictures that Don took for me at the meet.
