For any of you who may not have looked over the new D Stock Inspection Manual available on the APBA website.... it sayeth that the reed stops as furnished on the tohatsu reed blocks "MUST BE USED" when running the Boyesen reeds.
Additionally, the spec sheet does not provide any dimension for the Boyesen reeds. So quite simply then, it implies (to the likes of me) that, only the reeds made for use in the Tohatsu will be used. Therefore no dimension would appear to be necessary.
HOHOHO you say? yeh.... I agree....... loose (but we like loose - right?)
However, if you have purchased the Boyesen reeds from me, ie "For Competition Only".... you will indeed have the correct and legal reeds. Whether they are Boyesen ($32 a set) or OEM Tohatsu ($99.00 a set)
E me at netohatsu@myfairpoint.net if you need Tohatsu parts at a decent price, fast.
