We're good. Over 110 entries on Saturday with similar numbers for today. Great weather on Saturday with hard rain hitting in the evening. Looks like rain for today.
Ric Montoya appeared to have the CSR PBR Challenge in the bag after heat 1 but dumped in the 2nd heat. Darrell Sorensen was the winner there.
About 4 flips including Kyle Bahl in CSH who dumped in the corner and his boat got hit by Perman and JM Kelly. "Relatively" minor damage but he's done in CSH for the weekend.
Off to the river now.

Let's see...
J Michael Kelly took home the big money in CSH on Saturday. Larry Shepard took it in F-150 on Sunday (Larry also kept his stranglehold on best camera pass of the weekend).
Darrell Sorenson took the CSR PBR Challenge, with Ric Montoya second (courtesy of a broken throttle spring), and Drew Thompson finished third (and if there was an award for ugliest boat, he'd have had that too).
Addison Harper took both J classes Saturday, scoring an MP3 player and an iTunes card.
Kyle Bahl found water in turn 1 Saturday to win Helldiver for for the day (and if there was still the Helldrinker award, my money is on him). Kelly Hannon tangled with a piece of debris Sunday for the other trophy. They and the other involuntary swimmers on the weekend were cold but uninjured. Two of our friends from Whidbey Roostertailers, Jerzee Holman and Jon Maroney showed great skill (and smarts) in getting out of the cold water and back in their boats within a minute.
Mother Nature was the big winner Saturday night, with a pair of deluges at 9 and 10 pm to go along with quite an impressive light show.
Thanks to the Newberg Boat Club for their generosity in sharing their 60th anniversary with us. Thanks also to Oregon Race Rescue and Newberg fire for volunteering their services all weekend. Kudos to race director Ken Kaiser for making it all come off safely and successfully with a high, fast moving, and cold river (and for letting me off the hook for anchor pulling duty today).Mike Johnson
