Have tryed contacting the webmaster twice with no response, maybe this will work. Have been having serious problems trying to post or stay registered. My service provider is AOL. I have been told that AOL is the problem by some people. I have been a member from the begining of this site with no problems. This all began when the site changed hands. Could that be part of the problem? What the heck is going on? I really enjoy hydro racer but have really frustrated trying to use it the last few weeks. If anybody has any answers please keep it simple, I am no computer guru.

    Just a guess.....

The problem probably is AOL. What browser do you use?
I have cable internet (CMA Access) and normally use Firefox. No problems at all staying logged in or posting.
    ...

OMC FE/SE powerhead parts for sale. Kurcz ported block, Mod 50 pistons and cylinder head, exhaust, etc.

      Art K -

I have never received an email or PM from you. Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Firstly, absolutely nothing has changed with the site other than the names on the registration. There have been no upgrades, no changes to membership options, etc.

I think you will have to check with your internet service provider, unless you have dial up that doesn't necessarily mean AOL, it could be the actual service provider i.e. your local phone company or cable company.

The timing on your connection issues has to be a mere conicidence

        Webmaster ?

        Art,

I don't think clicking on the webmaster email will get you anywhere. That might be a link to the web hosting site and not the actual HR site. I am sure the Montana crew will get you straightened out.

For future you might want to Private Message or email Blueskyracer. They run the site.

Dave, if you look above your post, I already answered. As Webmaster emails come directly to me, not the hosting service. I never received one from Art.

            Art,

First off the transition of ownership went extremely smooth as Teresa noted we have not even done a site upgrade since the transition just for this very reason.

Teresa and I are planning to an upgrade after the season is over just to be sure that no one gets knocked off the site etc. plus there are a few issues with the license that neither one of us had a clear understanding on so again this is the very reason nothing has been changed.

Please send Teresa a PM and we will try to help figure out what might be going on.

I have run a test on email using the "contact Webmaster" link in the sidebar and everything seems to be working A-Okay. The test message sent from a couple of sources were all received just fine.

I would still have to guess that this is a service provider, AOL or browser problem.
