The weather was as frosty and cold as the atomosphere was toastie and warm, so I have been told by the many calls and emails from our AOF Western racers who attended the Elk River race.
Way, way, off in the mountains in a tiny valley sits the most picturesque site in the world for a boat race. Snow fell in the mountains surrounding which added to the spectacular scenery during the races by StateLine Outboard (statelines of Idaho and Washington).
I am told all heats of stock, mod, and pro were run with no accidents or problems. The campfire and first season race with close friends were the highlights.
As soon as we get results they will be posted.
