More details are coming out on the Ocala/Altoona Florida race. This one will be an experience you won't want to miss.

Listed on the schedule first as Ocala, but the physical address is actually Altoona. (Changed on schedule).
The lake is as perfect and a mirror of Lake Apthorpe (Lake Placid, FL races). The site is a 4-H camp. Some of you may remember racing at the 4-H camp for a Winter Nationals a few years ago in Lake Placid. (this one has a much nicer lake).
There will be tent camping and cabins that are bunk houses. Tent camping will be around $7.50 a night. The Bunk houses will cost around $22 a night per person for bed. They will serve food, or each bunk house has a kitchen. There is a pretty steep cost for the lake so the entry fees will probably go up from $20-15-10-5 to possibly $35 an entry. This is still a bargain!
Put this race on your calendar. There are many of these camps throughout Florida and they love Carl Staron. That equates to a lot more races on these private lakes and cabins and a big boost for boat racing in Florida. Plan to support it.
Stock, mod, and Pro classes with anything else that plans to attend. (Let Carl know). Plan some more vacation for this super opportunity for all of us.
