Lots of positives about our races so far this year. All races well attended and Eustis even paying out $20,000 in prize money. A very special thank you to the PR committee of AOF, Kevin Martin, Mike Sattler, and Barry LaBjond. (Actually of SLORA, but we have recruited them)….Most of the races in the West for AOF, will benefit “Make a Wish Foundation..” Even our national meeting, Nov 12-13 in Spokane is to help that cause. Other positive organizations benefiting from AOF so far: Money to Heart and Cancer Societies; Red Cross and Tsunami victims, bought band uniforms for a local community, money to humane society. and a Children’s museum.. In addition, some clubs are getting assistance in keeping their race sites alive by having AOF donate sanctions and insurance. We even have bought backboards, strobe lights, and helped paint a van to carry equipment as well as flags, banners, etc.for some AOF clubs. Keep up the good work, AOF members. Keeping AOF strictly non profit, realizing that our sport is a hobby and that we can have fun and contribute to our communities is a feel good euphoria
