New Boats for 2010

Well it is that time of the year when the season is almost over and it is time to start building new boats to help get thru winter and stay busy.

This is the place to post about all the new boats under construction or even under repair (make sure to include the before and after shots). Include what you plan to run the boat in, you can even talk a little smack about how great the new ride is going to be.

I am also out of wood but don't have time to make another order since I am sure it will show up while we are at our last two races.

Sounds like a personal problem to me. They make pills to help you with that.

I have the articles in the trailer but can't remember to bring them out for folks to see. Must be a "mad cow" thing. Maybe this weekend if you remind me. Dave, do they make pills for that to. I already take 7 pills so what is one more. LOL

I have now gone as far as I can till I get some sheets of Okoume that should be here in two weeks. The last 3 feet of the stringers has been flat boarded and the air traps are installed.

Good to hear that Dave. I know you said that you were paying $80.00 a sheet for plywood. You should really check out the price at Noahs marine. Even with shipping of $250 to Montana it was a better deal than buying it in Spokane. Only took 2 weeks for the wood to get here.

I have a real itch to build a boat this winter and we are seriously considering a new CSR. Still need to get approval from the driver and the Moby Grape Racing treasurer.
