Trying to get my account activated here but having problems with the URL they sent to me. Emailed them and hopefully they will correct things. I have an Original Swift Atomic A that I purchased New in 1962 as a High School graduation gift from my family. It has only been in the water about 4 times. We had a lake house on Guntersville Lake in North Alabama where Hydroplane Racing was very popular at one time. I have decided to sell it in lieu of displaying it in my home office any longer. Think any collectors in HydroRacer might like to have a piece of Joe Swift's History? Oh, my email is dcoutta3688@charter.net in case they have not posted my info as yet...thanks

Thanks, Pete, I will get some photos up and attempt your suggestion; however, not very techie on this end. The Atomic A is in excellent condition and all original, including decals. I am taking it to Guntersville, Alabama this weekend to show it off; as there is a big Hydroplane boat race being done there similar to the races they used to do when I was a kid. I will be in contact in the next week or so with photos etc. I wonder, because of this being such a rare piece of history and in perfect condition what I should ask for it? I want to be fair but I also don't want to give it away. I have seen prices from $9,000 down to $1,500 for units that did not even compare to mine. I am confused to say the least. Thanks again for your reply and help. I can be reached on cell at 205-223-4812; email at dcoutta3688@charter.net should you need to contact me for any reason... David

After you get activated post pics on this site under for for sale as well as Boatracingfacts.com. I am sure there are many who would be interested especially if in great shape, they are rare because few survived. If you have trouble getting your site set up and loading pics send the pics to me and I will post them here and the site in the link. I will include your email and phone # and any details like price which is always good to state. Send pics as JPEG and not huge files, try for about 300 - 500kb. My email
