  • USTS NATIONALS RESUKTS

The first day of the US Title Series nationals started in cool pleasant temps as a real blessing for DePue. A Friday spectacularly huge enjoyed the first half of the program. The wind was out of the WSW and played a part in Tony Anderson’s, Jeff Ruth’s, Craig Ingalls, Brandon Payn’s exit out of his boat.

The wind became too much and only half of first day’s program was finished.
Tomorrow we start with 8am drivers mtg and go from there. We have 17 175H’s to go thru for today’s 2nd half.

On the water in 850MR Ralph Cook took both heats, Mike Franck and Jeff Ruths’s finishes put them on the podium.

Tara Cook took the first two heats and Danny Potts took the last, but Tara took the win for WHAT’s UP DOC race team. Successful week for them as Braxton Miller took the DSH win at Wakefield.

Brad Dygert and Mike Werner traded heat wind setting up a Donnybrook for the third heat. The first three laps did not disappoint the fans as the two young guns traded the lead lap after lap. However on the last lap, something went south on Werner and he pulled off moving first time runabout driver Brady Brinkman driving the THIRLBY Automotive entry to 2nd and Ethan Fox to 3rd.

In CRH Devon Huff won a heat, 4th in the 2nd with engine problem, and out of 3rd. He was just 65 points from Kyle Deptula going to 3rd heat. Kyle knee he needed a decent finish for 3rd could win it and he put a 1-2-3 finish of his 3 heats to win in his Uncle Duke Johnson’s equipment. Great finish for Duke put him into a 1-2 finish for the podium with Jack Campbell for 3rd

K-pro has been dominated by Cooper Thompson and today was no exception. Cooper took first two heats and a 3rd from starting in rear of the field to keep from gun jumping. Ashton Caffereli came on for 2nd and Chase McKean driving a restricted motor moved himself to the podium with a great start in 3rd heat and placed 2nd there

Early start tomorrow to finish of 350MH, 175H, CSR, and 700R

Just got a report from the Title Series/NBRA race in Ark. Chase McKean in K Pro set a 1 mile competition record. We were waiting inspection and he was found to be legal in both US Title Series and NBRA. He is 10 years old and was required to have an engine restrictor which he did have. Next year he can remove it.
