  • US TITLE SERIES AT LAKE SPRINGFIELD, IL

The Next round of the US Title Series kicked off today with an abbreviated test day as Mother Nature gave us a lightening show, but no rain mid afternoon and hung around the rest of the day. We are Lake Springfield, IL this weekend with a good number of boats on the grounds already and more to come through the evening.
One of our competitors will not be in attendance this weekend while he deals with the tragic death of his dear Mother as she crossed a street near her home. Pete Kelly, know are prayers and thoughts are with you and your family and hope that the sweet spirit of the Lord surrounds your family and gives you solace and know that all is well, all is well.
We will be racing all our usual classes beginning tomorrow afternoon and finishing it off on Sunday. This begins a busy next month for the Title Series as we move on to Constantine, Mi to start Speed weeks beginning on Friday the 19th of July, followed up by the US Title Series Pro Nationals at Lake DePue under the auspices of the great sponsor, The DePue Men’s Club for I believe the 36th year in a row. We will be hosting 5 Mod classes at the Nationals as well. 350MH-BMH, 500MH-CMH, 750MH-850MH, and 850MR. We understand a great deal of support will be coming from the different Mod organizations to be able to run in front of the largest crowds any of them have ever raced for before. Should be exciting. Come one come all Mods for a great event.
We will finish the year at Clarksville, Ar with the Lightning on the Ludwig, a measured mile course so records will be set at this one. We will be running on a great protected body of water at this event in conjunction with the NBRA Nationals. This is a beautiful area of Arkansas and the city is super excited to host this event and are working hard in preparation for the event.
