  • USTS Boat Safety Inspection - Lake Alfred, FL

No boat will be allowed on the water without first receiving a boat safety inspection. I will be doing all the safety inspections at Lake Alfred. I'll be in the pits, find me when you are ready for your inspection.

I am changing my travel plans to arrive at Lake Alfred, Thursday around noon. If you plan on arriving on Thursday, get your boats set up, and I'll start Safety Inspections as soon as I arrive.

At Lake Alfred, I'll be handing out yellow forms for each class entry.

The driver will fill in each form with the following:
        • Class Entered
        • Boat Number
        • Check Off HYDRO - CAPSULE - RUNABOUT
        • Boat Builder's Name, & Year Constructed
        • Driver's Name & Signature
        • Capsule Boat - Radio Spotter's Name
        The Safety Inspection will include:

Steering, Throttle, Kill Switch, Overall Boat Condition, Numbers & USTS decals, Helmet, Life Jacket/Impact Material, Trailer Fire Extinguisher, and local requirements for Tarp under each engine and no Fuel Can near a Generator.

After passing inspection, I'll place a Safety Sticker on the boat dash.

No Boat is allowed on the Lake Alfred without first having a Safety Inspection and a Sticker applied.
