  • CONSTANTINE SUNDAY

First of all I apologize for making this so late in the week , but here's the story on Constantine Sunday

    In K-Pro
McKenzie Hellsten and Brianna Payn tied up on points with two heat wins each, but McKenzie took it on time. Brady Brinkman did a great job in only his second race of his life for third overall,
Another generation to Brinkman's are at it

Kurtis Nydahl went two for three in 250 Hydro, but it wasn't easy as Chris Hellsten held Kurtis' feet to the fire in all three heats, Pete Kelly with a beautiful start in the 3 heat took it home. Kurtis was a little tough on himself starting in about the fifth or six spot going to the first turn but was able to overcome it all.

Austin VanOver continued his dominance in 700 runabout is again he won both heats in 700 runabout is again he won both heats. RC Hawie had a great run the finishing the second spot with young man Pete Vossin the third spot. These guys seem to be getting faster and faster as we go on.

In 175 Hydro, Ray Hammond continuing to work hard to claim the title at Constantine. Baylee Burkland, working very hard to try to take three in a row came up just a little bit short. Baylee had won at Pleasant Prairie and Springfield and put yourself in the middle of the High Point title fight . Jon Wienandt came back from a very scary 125 Hydro wreck and finished in the third spot.

350 runabouts were Up Next , with Mike Krier showing the other guy said he's got a real shot at the title at Depue. He and Tim Small were duking it out for any number of laps , but Mike was able to take it over all. Bryan Payn 2014/15 National champion finished in the third spot. This bodes for a great race at Depue for the national title

We finished off with 1100 Hydro and Amy Nydahl finishing out front in the first heat. However, when she came back to the pit area and pull the ignition you didn't shut off and being the great driver she was she avoided a real bad situation coming into the pit area and was able to swing back out on the course. Great piece of driving Amy thank you. Unfortunately with that problem and she was unable to run the second or 3Rd heat. That Opened the door for David Hooten, Who if you know David he had no trouble going through that door. Rick Saver who seems to be getting better and better runs Took the second spot and Ike Yoder took third.

Looking forward to a great nationals with a lot more boats as we get ready do crown our 2016 national champions.
