Any spare connecting rods for an 80? The project motor I bought has an egg shaped on the big end where the rod bearing failed and someone kept driving. Carruthers said you may be able to help me out.
Trying to turn what was 2 parts motors into one runner to get another boat in the water up here.

Try Tom Johnston or Ric Montoya.

            Howie,
            thanks I appreciate it.
            Dean,
I will check with those guys next, but as stated above a friend told me to check with Howie. I’ve lurked on this site for about a year reading lots of stuff. Figured it’s time I reached out now that I have a project on the go.

Sorry no rods, very few 80 parts left if any at all. I will try and get a list together of what is left for each motor.
