1980ís Butts Aerowing Hydro, 1982 Konig 500 Engine.
This is as close to a numbers matching setup of any out there.
A VC82 finger ported Konig 500, as shown in the cylinder block photo. 48 mm carburetors and rotary valve plate matched to the carburetors.
The boat and engine were run together back in the day and I have an original test data sheet showing the VC82 engine and gearcase that is included in the sale. It was run with the Yamato gearcase that is included in this sale. Expansion Chamber support is Konig, as is the driveshaft housing.
The boat is in very good condition considering its age, and has been stored horizontally on carpeted racks.
Boat is complete with original fuel tank, steering, turn fin, lanyard stop switch, hand throttle with pipe puller, and bubble windscreen. Windscreen has a crack that has been stop drilled. Transom has the original Konig mounts.
Included is an excellent 3 blade propeller and the original Keller speedometer and pickup. Speedometer mounts on the steering wheel hub.
The trailer is available, and would be included if my asking price is met.
As this is used race equipment, there is no warranty expressed or implied, and it is being sold in as is condition. I will not separate the package due to the historical value as raced.
Firm price is $3200.00, includes the trailer, $3000.00 without the trailer. CAN BE DELIVERED TO FLORIDA IN NOVEMBER TO AOMCI MEET OR TAVARES.
