  • 1956 REAL MERCURY 55H FOR SHOW OR CLASSIC RACING

THIS IS AD I'LL BE PLACING ON E BAY IN NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS.

1956 REAL MERCURY 55H FOR SHOW OR CLASSIC RACING
All numbers match with original serial plate, #984298. All original except owner/West Coast racer converted to Factory upgrade to Tilllotson KA7A carbs in 1959. Rebuilt to factory specs by Wienandt March 2004. Std. bore and 120+ psi compression. Foot rebuilt by Ron Thomas. Original chrome factory steering bar. Raced twice, Wakefield Nationals, with less than 2 hours running time since rebuild. Restored to original factory 1956 paint scheme. Absolutely perfect to show but should be run as it’s a strong engine. Would be perfect for Classic racing. Asking $4500 by PayPal. Must be picked up in Greensboro, GA.
I also have full sized Frame patterns for a 50’s Sid Hornet DU and a Stippich 1969 DSR available. Also many 2 & 3 blade SS DSR props available. Jon K Walters

Thanks for nice compliment but I'm 77 and finished with all my racing equipment and concentrating on my antique Chris-Craft's

What models and years of Chris Crafts do you have? A number of years ago I restored a Century Resorter, mid 1960's year. They were the official Tournament Water Ski Boat before the Master Crafts that showed up in the 1970's.

I'm looking for some outboard stands like those, mind sharing where you got them?

West Marine has a heavy duty dolly made by Garelick and Amazon has an assortment. None now available like mine as I bought them on a clearance sale a few years ago from West

I have a pristine 44 ci blue printed by Wienandt on 55h tower and foot with less than 2 hours on it. Send me your e mail and I'll forward you details and pix.
