  • Day one at the NBRA NATIONALS

a great fleet of modified hydro's and runabouts have found their way to beautiful Mountain Home, Ar, with testing completed many drivers taking to the water to look for speed. If you are not here, you missed one of the beautiful areas the Lord made. Surrounded by hills and trees, this large lake provides a beautiful cove made for racing. Tomorrow we will run off the elims along with much test time as the search for speed continues. Lots of 4 cylinder hydro's and runabouts ready to go. "Doc" and Rick Miller have done yeomans work and have a great group ready to put this on and we look forward to a great race. See ya tomorrow, Ray

We have about 45 teams and 115 boats in Mountain Home, ARkansas and Lake Norfork, for the NBRA Nationals at noon today. Racing is today and tomorrow and the Super E Hydro lines up as the first race of the day. Temps are in the mid 80's and the sunshine is popping now. It's going to be a great day!

For those who would like to follow the action some the BaxterBulletin.com will have a ton of images, article and videos of the racing. That should get you a sample of what your missing in MH.

Races start at noon today with Super E Hydro setting the tone. There will be some great racing as there are some fast rigs here.

We would like to thank the sponsors for the event. Methvin Sanitation, MH Area Focus Foundation, MH Adv. & Promotion Commission, Baxter Lab, NAEC, Air Evac, Baxter Regional Hosp., Century 21 LeMac, Baxter Bulletin, Baxter County Sheriff Dept., UACofE, Arkansas Game & Fish, 101 Fire Dept, Clark Ridge Fire Dept and Bass Cat Boats. Thank you to the friends of Pigeon Creek and the Arkansas Dept. of Corrections, Calico Rock Unit.
