Roll Call for Lake Placid Florida

The AOF, and local racers are putting on our second testing, BBQ, and fun day on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Carl Staron's place at Lake Arthrope in Lake Placid Florida. Our first one a couple months ago was a big success. There will be a course in place, safety boat, pickup boat, and timer. If we have enough boats in a class, they can race if they want. Come test your props, set-ups, whatever. This is open to pad boats also, if you want to drag race, or just have fun running around the course. We will be serving BBQ lunch and cold water. It will be hot, so bring a tent or cover. Due to predicted thunderstorms all day tomorrow, we are cancelling testing at Lake Placid tomorrow. I hate to do it, but it will be miserable, and don't want to take a chance with lightning. We will keep you posted for next date.
