As I look at the calendar I see we are in July, which means the sleepy little town on the big bend of the Illinois river is getting ready to erupt....Depue Illinois. Soon this little town will again be alive with sound and smell of boat racing. Each year we welcome old friends and make new ones, they all become family to all of Depue. This year we will welcome 5 new MOD classes to our program, to all of you welcome to our town. The Mens Club are making our final preparations, a few tweaks here and there and we will be ready. Soon i will be at my usual place behind the slider grill, talking to all of you with a smile on face .
