I just picked this one up. Looks to be in good shape and it came with a spare nos short block. The prop is not a J splined prop, but uses a regular A prop. It has a bushing adaptor that slides over the splines and engages a piece on the front of the shaft that has two pins sticking out of it to engage the adapter. I do not see anything that pins the prop in place . Just the tightness of the prop nut with a flat washer between the nut and the back of the prop. Does anyone know if the part that engages the adapter also is used for a J prop?
    Thanks, Syd

That was a great little engine. Just the right speed for kids, light weight and on a boat the correct size kids could handle and drive. My parents still have mine.
