Heat advisory was out Saturday, so our spectator count was low. 22 trailers looked small on a facility that can hold 800 bass boat trailers. We pride our selves in safety. We had two lift boats and 6 EMT attending those two boats. In addition, we had two experience Seadoo drivers, making everything run really fast. Only two drivers had to volunteer per set to judge the turns. $3000 in tow money, 1400$ in prize money and free meal makes GROVE's Thunder on Wolf Creek one of the best races in the country. Yes Col. Klink kept us inline.

Last weekend we had a very successful two days of racing. We set, what I believe is, a record by changing turn judges in both turns in 2 1/2 min. And, ran the entire sanction of 22 heats in 3 hours and 15 min. This could not have happened without the complete cooperation of everyone involved to include the judges stand staff, pit crews, volunteers, and of course the drivers. My thanks to all. The quick schedule enabled me to get to a family reunion in NE Ohio and see a lot of folks that I have not seen in years. WELL DONE FOLKS! Jack- the Nazi Referee
