Join us at the 2.2 million dollar facilities at Wolf Creek Park , Thunder On Wolf Creek. We offer free membership to the Oklahoma Boat Racing Association, so come and play.

    BIG Prizes for kneel down racers

    Thunder on Wolf Creek will hold their 6th race At Wolf Creek Park, the 2.2 million dollar facility in Grove Oklahoma. The race will be June 29, 30th, and July 1st. The prizes are two chances to win $400 , if you compete in the C Stock hydroplane class. This from the family of Mark Monkres, who passed away, and he was a C Stock driver from Tulsa, Ok. The E classes will race for prize money, with a $1,000 up for grabs, for the top four finishers in the two days. Funds are provided by the Ken Bayer family and Inavotive Automotive. We will have $2,000 in tow money for those who need gas money to get home. The guest motel is Stonegate motel, rate is 69.99 plus tax for the event rate. Take time to visit Lendonwood Garden on Sunday morning. Jack Stotts is referee, Jon Ruff is our Announcer, Dudley Malone will be the master, Jerry Ruzack will be the flagman, Patsy Ruth, Melessia Backward and Jake Perryman will be our scorers. Mark Buzzard and Terry Long will man the Seadoos. The Grove Fire Department will operate the OBRA rescue and the Monkey Island fire department will provide their $100,000 rescue boat. The Grand River Dam Authority will provide boat control. The City of Grove provides $1800 in advertising funds which is administered by the Grand Lake association. Food venders will be on site. There are motor home electrical hookups that are free for divers. Non drivers will pay $30 per night. Concrete ramps plus shore line launching in restricted areas. Only released signed participants and an age limite of 10 years and older are allowed in restricted areas. Only crew members are allowed in launch areas. All winners will be weighed, height checked and restricter plate will be examined. Fuel will be checked on the winner. Grove has many gas outlets that sell non ethanol fuel. Our major sponsor is the Cherokee Casino, who has low cost meals and a band each night. Go out and enjoy the casino.
