TopO - ASR _ Sidewinder fuel needs?

Each of my tanks are 2 gallons and I have 2 of them. Plenty left with them in the Hot Rod.

Hey guys,
looking to make TopO this year. Need a fuel tank for the ASR. what do i need to carry and finish with an A sidewinder? is 3.5 gallons enough or do i need more?

Hello and FYI. Spud Hemp makes fuel tanks and will make anything you need. He is usually on this site.

I would suggest to be conservative and have maybe 1 gallon left over. Consider what other’s are doing. Maybe have baffles so the fuel doesn’t ‘slosh’ too much. Just a thought.

I made it with a 2.5 gallon tank last year, and had some to spare. It was a calm year though.
