What is available for racers to purchase to test their fuel while testing and prerace? Is it true the units at race sites are no longer availble?

Look at the APBA 2018 Stock Outboard Technical Manual, Page 6 Fuel Testing..... Digatron DT-15, DT-47FT, FT-64 Fuel Testers. It explains it’s use etc.

Also go to digatronusa.com, they are in Spokane Washington ........ looks like the only one available is the FT-64..... two models available..... in the $700 range. I would call them..... they could have reconditioned units available.

If all you want to do is test for alcohol in your fuel you can do that with any test tube like container. Fill it first with water about 10% full and mark the water level. Then fill the remainder with fuel to be tested. Plug and shake, a bit. Let it settle to see if the water level increased. If it moved up, there is alcohol in your fuel.
