  • NBRA History

I'm looking for any sort of flyers, Full Throttles, some sort of list, etc. showing the NBRA champions from the various National Championships and High Points from 2002 up through 2011. If you have anything showing any of this information from around these times I would really appreciate it. Even if you just happen to remember who won from those years (sometimes easy to remember if it were you yourself haha) fill me in.

    Thank you for any responses.

    Working on a little project.

One mistake NBRA made was not to copy AOF's medical support. AOF had $30,000. In their hospital fund when it was disbanded. You paid $5 each day to the hospital fund. This grew rapidly. If you had an accident and a hospital bill, AOF hospital fund paid $2,500 up front if you needed it for the hospital bill or your insurance deductible. Still a good idea but maybe it needs to go to $5,000 or to a percentage at first.

I think what johnml390 is talking about is the general history of NBRA. This is important stuff... Especially for the future generations.

My suggestion would be to get a committee together and collect all the stuff that they can...... and document it. Race results, champions, officials, pictures, newspaper articles, etc, etc, etc.

And, this "stuff" should be available on the web site for everyone to see.

I am still working on a little project to show all of our past champions from each of the various Nationals and for the High Point Championships each year since the NBRA’s first season in 2002. To date I have acquired the needed information for many of the years. But I am still missing some information for the following years/seasons: 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. If you have anything showing our champions from these years (official race results, champions list, final high points, rule books, full throttles, etc.) (or just know what you or others won throughout those years) please send that information my way. Photos, etc. would work fine. Thank you for any help.

All the champions were printed in the rule books. You need someone to loan you a set that they have saved.

Thanks to Mrs. Cherie Crews, I have a lot more of the information I’ve been seeking. I’m now only in need of the years 2003, 2004, and 2005. If any of you have anything showing these years, please let me know. Thanks.
