  • Tony Godialis

I'm not sure how many current racers or former racers are out there who may remember my Brother-In-Law Tony Godialis (married to my sister for 58yrs.) and former racer. Tony passed away this past Monday, 7/31. He will be missed by his family dearly. Tony raced during the late 50's into the early 60's out of Branford, CT (COA) running C & D Stock Hydro. (His father was known as AG).

    Sincerely,
    Don Graham

Well I remember Tony and AG very well as well as you Don your son and your Dad and your Mom baby-sitting me and Dom back in the 1960's.
Once again we lost another one from the old days.
Tony ran Swift Craft's for awhile and moved to Marchittie's with the number 3-D in DSH and CSH which he ran rarely. This is all in my childhood, but I remember. Red deck with a white strip. I have black and white pictures from that time period.
When the COA club had the 80th anniversary in 2008 , Tony was there. Very excited to see so many from the old days, as we all did enjoy.
    RIP Tony, I remember.
