  • US A-Team

Disappointed, Thank you to all that voted for the US A-Team in the Champion Spark Plug Champion Challenge. I guess " Champion" doesn't like " Boat Racing and USA Olympic teams ". The twenty five finalist are all from pavement racing. Not one water sport or snow entries made it to the finals. Oh well, lesson learned.

We made a lot of new Friends from getting the word out on the US A-Team. Thank You again for all that have participated.

I think we would have done better in the "Off track" segment. Idea for next year.

Champion Spark Plug gave out contingency prize money at the Stock Nationals in 1981 at Dayton OH. I won 20SSH and got $100 from them. I want to say their rep was Skip Mason.

Yup, that's what they did even back in the old days, late 60's at the Alky nationals. Skip Mason was the rep, became good friends with my dad
