  • 2015 NBRA Season Opener at Tunks Roll Call/Information

I was asked by my uncle to start up a roll call for this event as well as to post some updated information about the NBRA Season Opener at Tunks in Central, Louisiana coming up in May 1st - 3rd, 2015.

First and foremost let's hear who is planning on coming down to Louisiana at the end of the month and what classes you are planning to take part in.

Friday the course will open for testing at 9am and will be available until 6pm.
Saturday we will have testing (times to be determined) prior to the start of racing at 12pm.
Sunday racing will begin at 11am. (No word on testing and if so what times as of yet)

We will attempt to have a schedule made up early as to make setup and motor swaps easier.

All of you Super E Hydro drivers will be in for a treat. There will be special prizes/etc. given away for Super E Hydro in honor of Bill Bracken.

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon! Haven't been in the loop much with the amount that I have been working recently but as the event gets closer I will be attempting to help Uncle Randy get some of his equipment ready to go come the end of the month. As always there is NO telling as to what I may end up in come the race weekend. But surely you can count us in for SEH (Maybe 2), SER, and CMH. Not to mention a few other options that are not quite squared away as of yet. We shall see as the weekend grows closer.

Thanks for the update John. No Quarter Racing will be there with C Stock and EH, maybe Cmod.

Over the winter some of us in the Louisiana area decided to start a new NBRA sanctioned club. Our first race will be the last weekend in April. Anyone in the area is invited to join the new organization.

                    We will have an A and C stock hydro, 2 CMOD hydro's, 2 D MOD hydro's, 2 E MOD hydro's, and possibly a B OMC. Looking for a great turnout at Tunk's this year.

Entry fees for the race will be $25 for your first class, $20 for your second, and $10 per class for every additional class after that.
