    Many thanks to the Connecticut Outboard Association for two days of great racing on West Thompson Lake. Saturday's conditions were near perfect and 26 heats of racing were concluded by 4:00PM.

      Great job by the race committee to relocate the race course to save a day of racing. Many thanks to all that supported this event that started in 1977 and has run consecutively for 37 years with the exception of the year that the lake was drained. (although Giles thought that there was plenty of water to run!)
